Highlands Auto Center works with Tow Teddy, a Dallas-area towing company, so the tow and the repair are arranged together.
We're straight with you about this: we don't own the trucks. Tow Teddy does, and they do it for a living. What we've done is make sure the handoff between the tow and the repair doesn't drop — which is the part that usually costs you two days.

While you wait
- Get somewhere safe first — away from the traffic side of the vehicle.
- Hazards on.
- On a highway shoulder, get out on the passenger side and stand behind the barrier if there is one. Do not stand in front of or behind the vehicle.
- Note your nearest exit, mile marker or cross street. It's the first thing they'll ask.
- If you can, take a photo of the vehicle and where it's sitting.
After it arrives
